Skills - Trouble Shooting Automation Systems
I4 TR-CT-TROUBLE

Training Introduction

Automating an industrial production system leads to process, quality and quantity improvements. Optimal machine performance, availability, efficiency and product quality are essential. This training covers various methods to search for and resolve alarms and errors. In addition, the course covers problem-solving methods as an individual and as part of a team to achieve improved production processes. The main thing is ensuring that maintenance engineers in case of alarms and errors undertake the proper actions.

Training Target Group

This training has been designed for people responsible for managing and resolving errors and alarms in a production process.

Training (Pre) Knowledge

To take part in this course, participants must have experience with industrial automation processes and follow the World-Wide Training Certification Program.

Training Global Contents

Faultfinding is mainly a thinking process. Therefore, the thinking element is a central theme during this course. The course covers ways to improve the thinking process, resolve errors and alarms, critical thinking and using the knowledge and experience of colleagues. Sufficient practical examples will be used, such as the alarm- and error behaviour of certain system components.

Training Methods

ATS courses are given by highly qualified trainers, with practical knowledge, in professional ATS Training centres or on-site. Prior to the course an intake conversation can take place to define the participant(s) and the company's requirements. Presentations (theory and examples) as well as practical exercises bring the courses to life. ATS courses are interactive; the trainer will always make sure the training contents link back to your situation.
